FAQ

1. Is it true that giving up candy will reduce my weight?
A: Remember, you can eat just about anything you want and still can reduce your weight. All you have to do to reduce weight is be in a calorie deficit. That is, you have to burn more calories than you eat daily. Fortunately for all of us, your body burns most of the calories you need to burn by just living!

For example, a typical woman burns about 1,300 calories per day, even if she slept the whole day. See that you are aware of how many calories are contained in the candy you eat. As long as you stay with fewer calories, you will lose weight.
2. Will eating fast food add to my weight?
A: Not all fast food will do that. It actually depends on the kind of fast food you eat and how often you eat. Fast food is typically high in calories and low in nutrition. But there are a few fast food chains which incorporate healthy menus. Balance is the key here.
3. Will Alcohol make it harder to lose weight?
A. Of course Alcohol makes it harder.

The body absorbs alcohol in a different way. Other usual food and drinks are digested, converted and transported to cells and tissues whereas alcohol goes directly to the blood stream. Stomach walls and the small intestine absorb about 20 and 80 percent of the alcohol respectively. Also remember, they are empty calories. So you will get all the calories with little or no nutritional value. The result is loading you with more calories. The body will store them as fat and hence it's harder to lose weight.
4. Is there is a unique weight loss pill?
A. A unique weight loss pill? There is!! It's pure water. With no doubt we can trust pure water for weight loss and, in particular, body fat reduction. About 8-12 glasses of pure water per day will help you get and stay LEAN. Pure water here means plain water.

Importance of pure water: Water seems to act as a natural appetite suppressant. It's a known fact that people on diet who do not increase their water intake will find themselves often feeling more severely hungry than those who regularly consume water. The Reason is that dieters take less food and are getting less water from their food, so their body is actually craving fluid. These cravings can be significantly curbed with increased water intake. With that, drinking adequate amounts of water has various other benefits also. It allows your body to function properly.

Hence water is a unique weight loss pill.
5. How fast can I lose weight?
A: This is a very serious question.

It is generally accepted that you can lose up to 2 pounds per week.

Why this question is considered serious is because, if you drastically lose weight very fast then you are either doing something unhealthy or temporary.
6. How should I balance with the calorie rate and my weight?
A: All you have to remember is there are about 3500 calories in a pound of weight.

You must burn 3500 calories to lose one pound of body fat. Always try to burn more calories than what you eat. For seven days, if you burn 1000 calories more than what you eat, you will lose two pounds of body fat. The solution is to be aware of how many calories you take in and burn out each day. Then it is easy to balance.
